Life seems beautiful when it feels healthy. No doubt, health is wealth. The most precious blessing of life is to remain healthy. That is why everyone wants to lead a healthy lifestyle. Just learn to love your body and treat it well with the utmost respect. Though proper diet is also essential for human body to do exercise, workout or to remain physically fit, is really important for a good looking balanced personality. It also results in good mental health. Either it is a free workout, walk, stretching, aerobics, Zumba, or mixed martial arts practice, there are lots of benefits to be gained when it comes to your health and fitness. And the only right workout is the one you’ll be happy continuing.

Remember! continuity is the key factor of any physical practice. Here, we are talk about the health benefits of Martial Arts. Martial Arts has tremendous health benefits included physical, mental and even spiritual. It’s not just about winning, it is about personal growth and becoming a better person. ( Reminds me of super hit KDrama “The Moorim School”)

First of all, ask yourself what you want to get from training? If you want to compete, fight or it’s about self-defense sort of purpose than you can choose or select a proper training program according to your age and overall health as well as your lifestyle requirement. Make sure that the instructor will pay attention to your “security” measures. Mind-Body connection should be superior in this regard as it is all about time frame, defense and attack game. In this sense, martial arts will train you building up mental fortitude, perseverance, spirit and a never give-up attitude.
I would like to share a fighting “Tip” of the legend,Bruce Lee which which I go through on reading about “Jeet Kune Do” on Wikipedia:
“Be Like Water” :

Lee emphasized that every situation, in fighting or in everyday life, is varied. To obtain victory, therefore, it is essential not to be rigid, but to be fluid and able to adapt to any situation. He compared it to being like water: “Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend. Lee’s theory behind this was that one must be able to function in any scenario one is thrown into and should react accordingly. One should know when to speed up or slow down, when to expand and when to contract, and when to remain flowing and when to crash. It is the awareness that both life and fighting can be shapeless and ever changing that allows one to be able to adapt to those changes instantaneously and bring forth the appropriate solution. Lee did not believe in “styles” and felt that every person and every situation is different and not everyone fits into a mold; one must remain flexible in order to obtain new knowledge and victory in both life and combat. One must never become stagnant in the mind or method, always evolving and moving towards improving oneself.

Yup! “Running water never stagnates”(This priciple is based on “Tai Chai” philosophy)

Martial Arts in showbiz :

You can even see martial arts skills and choreography in showbiz. Jakie Chan, Tonny Jaa, Daniel O’Neil, Scott Ad Kins, Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Sammo Kam-Bo Hung, Jon Foo, Jason Statham, Dean Alexandrou, Van Damme, Steven Seagal are the most popular celebrities worldwide.
My all time favorite drama based on “Tae Kwan Do” is “Tornado Girl 2″ (also known as”Whirlwind Girl 2”) starring the gorgeous An Yue Xi and the “King of Action” the most, most handsome Chi Chang Wook. (What’s yours???)

Types Of Martial Arts :

There are many types of martial arts such as Tae Chai, Aikaido, Tae Kwan Do, Karate, Judo, Soo Bahk Do, Kung Fu, Jeet Kune Do, Ninjustu, Kenpo, Wing Chum etc, exist to create discipline and focus, flexibility and balance, strength and power, stability and co ordination in you. Stress relief and increased mobility, lowered blood pressure and heart rate are other advantages for aged ones.

It also teaches you to discipline yourself when it comes to making decisions on nutrition, rest and recovery. You will pay attention to your state of mind. In other words, it improves your athleticism. Besides this, it teaches great morals and values and gives you strong self-confidence, a solid sense of self-satisfaction related to your health and lifestyle.

So, don’t waste your precious time and get training of some martial art program that is suitable to your age and overall health . Just remember that

“The time is always right to do the right .”

Stay Blessed Always !!!
